In fact, consumers shopping for a Samsung Galaxy-branded smartphone, like the Galaxy S III or Galaxy Note II, will also receive up to $100 off the purchase of the Galaxy Camera. Aside from the device running the Android OS, the point-and-shoot digital camera sports a 4.8-inch HD Super Clear LCD screen at 308 ppi, 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 16 megapixel camera with backside illuminated CMOS sensor and 21x optical zoom lens, 8GB of internal storage (expandable with microSD), and a 1,650 mAh battery.
