The mystery T-Mobile handset previously known as the HTC Era 42 has now been identified as the HTC One X+. The “plus” attached to the One X moniker suggests the T-Mobile version of the popular Android smartphone will offer a bit more than the original found overseas and on AT&T. That could mean it’s packing even more power – possibly Nvidia’s Tegra 3+ quad-core 1.7GHz processor or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 quad-core 1.5GHz chipset. Of course, the “Tegra 3+” chip seems like the obvious choice due to the presence of the “+” symbol. This one could launch in September 2012, so stay on the lookout for more leaks in the near future.
