We knew they were coming, so it’s not too surprising that LG announced the Optimus F7 and Optimus F5 Android smartphones today. The pair of Jelly Bean-equipped devices will debut with a strong focus on 4G LTE connectivity at Mobile World Congress 2013 in Barcelona, Spain on February 25th. The higher-end F7 sports a 4.7-inch 720p True HD IPS display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 2540 mAh battery. On the other hand, the F5 comes with a smaller 4.3-inch IPS screen, less powerful 1.2GHz dual-core processor, just 1GB of RAM and a decreased 2150mAh battery. Additional software suites available with both handsets include QSlide, Live Zooming, QuickMemo, QTranslator, Video Wiz, Safety Care and more. The Optimus F5 will be available in Q2 2013 in Europe and the Optimus F7 will be released soon after in select markets. Specific release dates and pricing have yet to be determined.
