In this video, we unbox the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Android Honeycomb tablet. Samsung proved they’re in the tablet race to compete when they completely redesigned the Galaxy Tablet 10.1 soon after the announcement of the Apple iPad 2. Compared to the original Galaxy Tab 10.1v design, the newer Galaxy Tab 10.1 is just 8.6mm thick and 560 grams in weight. That makes it much slimmer and lighter than the 10.1v, Motorola Xoom, and even the iPad 2. Like other Android tablets on the market today, the GT10.1 sports a Tegra 2 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of internal storage, and a 10.1″ WXGA display. It also features a 3 megapixel rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera, and runs Android 3.1 Honeycomb. The WiFi version is available at Best Buy for $499 or $599, depending on storage amount, and comes in white or metallica gray color schemes.
