Sony Reveals Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Update Schedule for 2012 Xperia Smartphones

Sony posted its Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade path for its 2012 Xperia line of smartphones. The Xperia T, Xperia TX and Xperia V are still on schedule to receive Jelly Bean updates in February and March of next year. The Xperia P, Xperia J and Xperia go will then receive their respective updates at the end of March. The Xperia S, Xperia SL, Xperia Ion and Xperia acro S will follow soon after that in Q2 2013. Unfortunately, the Xperia U, Xperia miro, Xperia tipo, and Xperia sola will not be upgraded and will instead remain on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich from here on out.
