Verizon Wireless has updated the Motorola Droid Razr and Droid Razr Maxx from Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Not to be confused with the newer Droid Razr HD and Droid Razr Maxx HD, which received Jelly Bean upgrades three months earlier, the original pair of Droid Razr smartphones have been in queue for the latest version of Android for quite some time, so it’s good to see Verizon and Motorola finally fulfill their promises. The .XT912.Verizon.en.US software update is already in the midst of rolling out in phases and will continue on that path for the next week until completion. As always, eager folks can trigger the update manually through the settings menu. Read on for the full change log.
