Microsoft finally released an official SkyDrive app for Android smartphones today. The Android version is said to be similar to the Windows Phone and iOS apps in an effort to make files stored in the cloud more accessible across all devices. The SkyDrive app is specifically optimized for devices running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, although Microsoft says it’s fully functional on any phone with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and up. Download it for free from Google Play.
