Verizon Motorola Droid 4 Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Update (Changelog)

Following recent upgrades to the Droid Razr and Droid Razr Maxx smartphones, Verizon Wireless has officially started rolling out the same Android 4.1 Jelly Bean firmware update to the legacy Motorola Droid 4. The D4 was previously on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, so users should notice significant improvements and enhancements. The .XT894 software upgrade will be pushed out in phases over the next week, so users can either wait patiently for an automatic update notification or trigger it manually through the system settings menu. Just the right information at just the right time. Get today’s weather before you start your day and know when the next train will arrive as you’re standing on the platform. Cards appear throughout the day automatically.
