UPDATE: NVIDIA Grid, Tegra 4 and Project Shield demo videos added.

The show floor at CES 2013 doesn’t open until January 8 (we’ll be there to cover everything mobile), but the event festivities have already started! You can watch NVIDIA’s CES special event live stream in the embedded video above. The webcast will likely focus on computing and mobile gaming.

UPDATE: Nvidia just announced Grid for cloud gaming on multiple platforms, including Android, as well as the new Tegra 4 quad-core A15 processor with 72 graphics cores and 4G LTE modem!

UPDATE 2: Looks like Madfinger Games will release Dead Trigger 2 in 2013! NVIDIA just showed a quick demo and it looked amazing.

UPDATE 3: Project Shield was just unveiled! It’s a portable gaming console powered by Tegra 4. It runs Android and can do everything your smartphone or tablet can do, including watch movies, listen to music, browse the Internet, access Facebook, and, of course, play games. It can even stream gaming from your PC and connect to steam. No word on pricing or availability.
